NC State Athletics hosts Military Appreciation Day events throughout the year. Each year the Jeffrey Wright Military and Veteran Services office partners with Athletics to provide an opportunity for our military-connected students to attend these select games for football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling among other sports.

If you’re interested in attending these games, keep an eye out for announcements both on our Moodle and from NC State Athletics regarding when their annual Military Appreciation Day games are scheduled and other ways current military members, veterans, and their families are honored at collegiate sports events.

Ticket Requests

Our office receives a small allotment of tickets to NC State’s Military Appreciation Games (including football) each year. As such, ticket requests are limited to current military-affiliated students, faculty, and staff – and issued on a “first come, first served” basis, with priority given to our student veterans.

Students will see an announcement on Moodle when we have tickets for a game. Additionally, when tickets are made available and posted on Moodle, you should receive an email notifying you of the Moodle update with information on how to sign up for them. If you are a current student and you are not receiving MVS email updates, please make sure you’re identified as a military-connected student in your MyPack Portal profile.

Unfortunately, our office cannot accept or honor ticket requests from military-connected individuals or organizations outside of the university. We recommend going through NC State Athletics or organizations like Vet Tix for ticket deals or discounts.
