NC State’s Jeffrey Wright Military and Veteran Services is a high-impact student support program led by the NC State’s Division of Academic and Student Affairs. We are grateful to have such a robust alumni base of former veterans.

Veteran Alumni Network

Jeffrey Wright Military and Veteran Services, in partnership with the NC State Alumni Association, is thrilled to present the Military and Veterans National Alumni Chapter.

NC State has a proud tradition as a military and veteran-friendly campus and was recently recognized as a 2025-2026 Top 10 Tier One Research Institution for outstanding commitment and programs for our nation’s veterans and their families.

Our alumni chapter encourages an ongoing Wolfpack connection for our military and veteran graduates, families, and supporters as they pursue future success.

Purpose

The purpose of our alumni chapter is to recognize our military and veteran alumni and connect them to NC State in a meaningful way. It provides support in the following ways:

  • Enhances communication between NC State and its military and veteran alumni
  • Supports military and veteran student transitions from campus to career through mentoring, internships and employment opportunities
  • Assists with the recruitment, retention and graduation of military and veteran students
  • Recognizes NC State military and veteran contributions to our community and nation
  • Provides scholarships, advocacy, and support activities for current military and veteran
